PITB in collaboration with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) conducted an e-Procurement training session for the officers at the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Head Quarters Lahore. Captain (R) Tariq Walait SSP R&A and Sayed Husnain Hader SSP Admin CTD Hqrs Punjab were present.
MD PPRA Sahibzadi Wasimah Umar gave a briefing on the legal and regulatory framework governing the procurement processes in Punjab while PITB JD e-Procurement Muhammad Ashfaq Tiwana briefed the attendees on the scope and functionalities of the system highlighting its benefits. PITB team gave a hands-on training on the e-Procurement system and addressed the queries of the attendees.
e-Procurement system incorporates modern techniques to ensure secure, efficient government procurement. Under this system, vendors from any location can submit bids online, making the procurement process more convenient and accessible.
