Minister Labour & Human Resource Mansha Ullah Butt presided the launch of ‘Direct Credit System’ developed by PITB for the welfare grants processed by Punjab Worker Welfare Fund (PWWF). Secretary PWWF Mujtaba Khan was also present.
PITB Additional Director General Nausheen Fayyaz presented a detailed briefing on the system’s functionality. During the launch, a live disbursement was also performed, marking a significant step towards transparency and efficiency in welfare grant distribution.
This initiative reflects the government's commitment to leveraging technology for public service and ensuring timely support for workers across Punjab.
