PITB signed an agreement with the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) for the development and management of the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Programme’ portal, a flagship initiative aimed at providing interest-free housing loans to eligible citizens of Punjab. PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and PHATA DG Kh. Sikandar Zeeshan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
As per the agreement, PITB will deliver end-to-end technical support, including the design, development, and management of a centralized digital platform to ensure transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric implementation of the programme. The digital solution will streamline the loan application process, strengthen monitoring mechanisms, and enhance overall service delivery.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations, including PHATA DD Sara Aqeel, Director O&I Haseeb Anwar, JD e-Construction Hafiz Muhammad Awais, and Project Manager O&I Ahmed Tanzeel Sarwar.
