Member Provincial Assembly & Parliamentary Secretary Health & Population Welfare Department Punjab Asma Naz Abbasi lauded PITB for its contribution in successfully executing the ‘2025 Anti-Dengue Campaign.’
For this purpose, a ceremony ‘Celebration of Success’ was held in Rawalpindi to recognize the unwavering commitment and hard work of frontline stakeholders, including their teams, field staff and allied departments, for playing a pivotal role in safeguarding public health across Rawalpindi District.
During the ceremony the Parliamentary Secretary Health & Population Welfare Department Punjab also awarded PITB representative from IT-Operations health team Senior Program Officer Omer Mushtaq in recognition for technical support and analytical contributions during the ‘2025 Anti-Dengue Campaign.’
Rawalpindi also celebrated two landmark public-health achievements; a historic decline in dengue cases and 15 consecutive years of being polio-free.
