PITB and Government College University (GCU) Lahore have successfully signed an MoU for the implementation of the e-FOAS (Electronic File & Office Automation System).
The MoU was signed by PITB Director Development & Procurement Ata-Ur-Rehman and Registrar GCU Lahore Dr. Shoukat Ali. PITB Additional Director General Khurram Mustaq and Joint Director Operations Ishfaq Ali as well as GCU’s senior management were also present.
PITB developed e-FOAS is successfully functional in a number of government departments. It aims at transforming the conventional paperwork into a completely paperless environment. The core purpose of e-FOAS is to enhance the department’s efficiency via maintaining instantaneous internal/external communication, task management, improved transparency and reduced office expenditures.
