PITB developed Payzen is now integrated with ‘Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).’ In its Phase 1, the integration is successfully implemented in 7 major public sector hospitals across Lahore. The initiative is being rolled out in other hospitals as well.
This key step aims to further enhance transparency, accentuate citizen convenience, ensure hassle-free process by minimizing long queues and offer secure online payment options through Mobile Banking, Branchless Banking Operators, Wallets and ATMs for hospital services and lab tests.
Integration of Payzen will strengthen public service delivery through improved efficiency and streamlined operations while embracing fintech trends to transform the public sector healthcare through digital innovation.
