PITB has signed an MoU with the University of Education (UE), Lahore, under Makerspace Punjab, to foster innovation, strengthen research, and accelerate technology-driven product development.
The MoU was signed by PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and University of Education, Lahore Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar Chaudhry.
Through this partnership, students, researchers, and faculty members will gain opportunities to access specialized labs, technical mentorship, training, and prototyping facilities. The collaboration will also encourage joint innovation initiatives, promote entrepreneurship, facilitate knowledge exchange, and bridge the gap between academic research and practical, industry-relevant applications.
By bringing academia and innovation infrastructure closer together, this collaboration marks another step towards building a stronger ecosystem for research, entrepreneurship, and indigenous product development in Punjab.
