PITB conducted a training session on the e-Filing & Office Automation System (e-FOAS) at the University of Layyah aimed at promoting paperless governance and enhancing administrative efficiency. The session was chaired by Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Zubair Abubakar and attended by senior university management including Deans, Directors, Registrar, Treasurer, Controller of Examinations, other senior administrative officers and their supporting staff.
PITB Senior Program Manager (SPM) Abdul Rauf provided a comprehensive overview of the system, covering end-to-end electronic file movement, standardized documentation practices and workflow optimization through digital automation. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A.
Developed by PITB, e-FOAS is successfully operational across numerous government departments, transforming traditional paper-based processes into a fully paperless working environment. Through initiatives like e-FOAS, PITB continues to advance Digital Pakistan by reducing paperwork, lowering operational costs and enhancing efficiency across the public sector.
