PITB conducted a training session on the e-Filing & Office Automation System (e-FOAS) at the Directorate General Enforcement (Prices & Consumer Protection), an attached body of the Food Safety & Consumer Protection Department. The session was chaired by Director Admin & Finance Shahid Iqbal and was held for the senior officials and the supporting staff.
PITB Assistant Program Officer e-FOAS Muhammad Hammad Zahid provided a comprehensive overview of the system, covering end-to-end electronic file movement, standardized documentation practices and workflow optimization through digital automation. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A.
Developed by PITB, e-FOAS is successfully operational across numerous government departments, transforming traditional paper-based processes into a fully paperless working environment. Through initiatives like e-FOAS, PITB continues to advance Digital Pakistan by reducing paperwork, lowering operational costs, and enhancing efficiency across the public sector.
