The Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), and Bank of Punjab (BOP) jointly organized an instructional conference on the newly developed Punjab e-Procurement System at Flatties Hotel, Lahore.
The conference was attended by more than 500 representatives from procuring agencies and contractor firms across Punjab.
PPRA Managing Director Sahibzadi Wasimah Umer, PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif, and BOP Chief Digital Officer Naufal Daud briefed the participants on the key features and benefits of the Punjab e-Procurement System.
The system incorporates modern digital solutions, including digitization of bid security and performance guarantees, alternate procurement methods, online grievance management, and intelligent dashboard reporting. These features will help make public procurement more transparent, efficient, secure, and accessible.
The Punjab e-Procurement System will be prolled out across the province from July 1, 2026.
