The computerized balloting ceremony for the CM Punjab Rahmat Card Program was successfully conducted under the chairmanship of the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab on Zakat and Ushr Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah. Secretary Zakat & Ushr Ifran Ahmad Sindhu and the other representatives from the Zakat & Ushr Department, PITB, JazzCash, and DGPR were also present. PITB representatives included Director Badar Munir and Joint Directors Mahmood Hanif and Waqas Muzaffar.
During the ceremony, a transparent and technology-driven balloting process was carried out to select beneficiaries from among eligible applicants after rigorous digital verification. The SACM formally initiated the computerized draw and expressed satisfaction with the transparency and integrity of the process.
During the ceremony, the SACM and Secretary Zakat & Ushr Department appreciated PITB's role in developing and operationalizing the digital ecosystem for the program, acknowledging the team's efforts in ensuring timely implementation and seamless execution under tight timelines.
The CM Punjab Rahmat Card Program represents a major step towards transparent, efficient, and technology-enabled welfare service delivery, with the next phase focused on the disbursement of financial assistance to selected beneficiaries.
