PITB developed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) has successfully assisted in the Chief Minister’s Children’s Heart Surgery Program by strengthening the initiative through digital medical records, patient listing, electronic referrals to private hospitals and timely coordination of treatment across public and private healthcare facilities. To date, 15,000+ free-of-cost cardiac interventions and surgeries have been successfully completed of children from across Punjab and beyond.
HMIS aims to digitize medical records to improve clinical services, benefiting patients and aiding the hospital management in effective decision-making since every patient’s data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
