CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated the state-of-the-art Jinnah Institute of Cardiology that is equipped with PITB developed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
On behalf of Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf, ADG Nausheen Fayyaz briefed CM Punjab on the transparent, efficient and hassle-free process and the scope of HMIS emphasizing that this centralized system is accessible to patients provincewide.
HMIS aims to digitize medical records to improve clinical services, benefiting patients and aiding the hospital management in effective decision-making since every patient’s data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
