PITB team visited the Royal JW Farm, Khanqah Dogran Disease-Free Compartment, established in collaboration with the Chinese Government, to review ongoing animal identification, tagging, and operational processes.
The visit provided an opportunity to assess the implementation status of the Pakistan Animal Identification & Traceability System (PAITS) and gain insights into existing field practices. The observations will support further alignment and enhancement of PAITS workflows for effective animal identification and traceability across Disease-Free Compartment initiatives, as well as livestock activities beyond these compartments.
PITB remains committed to supporting the Livestock & Dairy Development Department in leveraging technology to strengthen animal traceability and build a more efficient, transparent, and digitally enabled livestock sector.
