Mr. Ata ur Rehman serves as Director (Development & Procurement) at the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), where he heads the Development and Procurement Wing and oversees large-scale public-sector procurement and development initiatives.
His portfolio includes management of a development programme valued at over PKR 10 billion annually. He also leads the e-Procurement initiative for the Government of Punjab, aimed at automating procurement processes across the province in collaboration with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and the World Bank, with a focus on transparency, efficiency, and compliance in public procurement.
With over two decades of experience working with federal and provincial governments and international development partners, including the World Bank and DFID, Mr. Rehman brings strong expertise in Public Administration, Policy, and Technology-Enabled Procurement Reforms. He holds an MBA with a specialisation in Technology Management.
