e-Procurement Training Held at Central Police Office Lahore

PITB, in collaboration with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), conducted an e-Procurement training session for officers at the Central Police Office (CPO) Headquarters Lahore.
Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police Rao Abdul Karim, DIG Technical Procurement Sahibzada Bilal Umar, and DIG Logistics and Procurement Shariq Kamal Siddiqui were also present.
PPRA MD Sahibzadi Wasimah Umar discussed the legal and regulatory framework governing the procurement processes in Punjab. PITB JD e-Procurement Muhammad Ashfaq Tiwana briefed the attendees on the scope and functionalities of the system, highlighting its benefits. The PITB team also provided hands-on training on the e-Procurement system and addressed queries from the participants.
The e-Procurement system incorporates modern techniques to ensure secure and efficient government procurement. Under this system, vendors from any location can submit bids online, making the procurement process fair, convenient and accessible.
