Punjab Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani conducted e-Balloting for Phase II of the CM Punjab’s ‘Empowering Rural Women Through Livestock Support’ scheme on October 14, 2026, using PITB’s digital system to ensure transparency in the beneficiary selection process.
Under the scheme, 3,380 deserving rural women will receive free cows and buffaloes, with distribution scheduled to commence on October 20, 2026.
The e-Balloting ceremony was virtually attended by Deputy Commissioners and District Livestock Officers, along with senior officials from the Livestock Department and PITB.
Through technology-enabled, transparent processes, PITB continues to support the Government of Punjab’s efforts to empower rural women, strengthen livelihoods, and improve public service delivery.
