Operated by Government of Punjab, WASA Lahore helpline 1334 with a consistent call volume since 2013 (200 average daily calls) is operational again. For this purpose, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) conducted a refresher training session on the revamped version of WASA Complaint Management System (CMS). WASA officials were briefed on restoration of helpline 1334 and 0800 99000 (PHL). Vice Chairman WASA, Chaudhry Shahbaz graced the occasion with his presence.
Followed by a monthly brief by PITB, the Vice Chairman instructed WASA field officers to ensure tagging of activities using smartphones. PITB will collaborate with WASA Lahore to strengthen monitoring of operations as performed by field officers.
