Dr Umar Saif Awarded Performer of the Year Award

Sitara-e-Imtiaz, Chairman PITB and Vice Chancellor ITU Dr Umar Saif is awarded Performer of the Year Award at Karachi Social Media Summit 2015. Recipient of many prestigious awards and recognitions, Dr Umar Saif is celebrated among 'World's Top Young Innovators for the year 2011' by global leading technology publication MIT Technology Review. An entrepreneur and advocate of youth empowerment, he is Pakistan's youngest Vice Chancellor among educationists.
Karachi Social Media Summit 2015 was held on September 17, where Dr Umar Saif gave a comprehensive presentation on ICT interventions of Punjab by Punjab Information Technology Board. Dr Umar Saif received a roaring applaud from the audience who are much impressed by the initiatives and endevours taken up by PITB under the leadership of Dr Umar Saif.
