The Director General PDMA Jawad Akram presented live dashboard developed by PITB for immediate rescue relief efforts. The press conference was chaired by Minister of Home and Environment Col ( R ) Shujja Khanzada applauding the efforts of PDMA, District Governments and especially Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for developing a state of the art disaster management tool to aid the ongoing efforts for immediate relief and rehabilitation of flood victims and mitigation of the extent of damage. He also remarked that NDMA also endorse the effectiveness of the dashboard developed by PITB and its possible adoption on a national level. Helpline 1129
