A wider spread of PITB’s Dengue Activity Tracking System has been instrumental in combating the disease. Individuals from the team visit areas where the dengue virus is a concern. An image of the area is taken before and after the dengue cleanse. 2,580,510 dengue activities have been recorded between January and July, 2015.
An online portal can also be accessed by officials where dengue activity is tracked using a heat map. Here is an image of the heat map, the high risk areas are marked red.
