The agenda included formulation of agriculture insurance solutions that will benefit farmers and agribusinesses. WB team has sought PITB’s technological assistance to ensure transparency in agri-insurance regime. PITB will also be working to develop a Crop Risk Model, which can be a game changer for encouraging investment in Agriculture sector. The team also met DG IT, Faisal Yousaf, and PD PPMRP, Salman Amin and was briefed about PITB's ICT interventions devised for the Agriculture Department.
