Previously a lengthy, tiresome process, e-Stamping has made the online verification of stamp paper, CVT and registration fee for refund process exceptionally easy and expedient. Training sessions are being conducted in the e-Stamping office at Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for refund clerks and treasury accounts officers from all over the Punjab. These sessions will brief the attendees on how e-Stamping has radically transformed the refund process and citizen experience.
This is a leap towards entrenching transparency and accountability in Government Departments.
