Additional DG and GM IT from the Punjab Food Authority (PFA) visited ASTP for a meeting with Hasnain Iqbal (Joint Director EGS) and Adnan Khan (SPM), in order to review the ongoing collaboration with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for the key initiative of developing a “Smart Food Licensing” system to facilitate both existing and prospective food business owners/operators in acquiring food licenses. The visitors were apprised of the progress thus far and reassured that required objectives would be achieved within stipulated time frame.
