Biometric Criminal Identification System has been incredibly useful to the Punjab police to authenticate criminals and suspicious individuals. The span of interrogation at Thana level, through quick retrieval of criminal record, has been drastically reduced owing to the installation of this new system at all police stations across Punjab. Moreover, accuracy and performance of the existing setup has visibly improved.
