Delegation from World Bank comprising Anna C. O’Donmell (Task Team Leader – SEEY), Jana El-Horr (Senior Development Specialist) and Shan Rehman (consultant) visited PITB to meet Chairman PITB, Dr Umar Saif to evaluate and discuss the pilot program for jobs and growth in the digital economy.
Dr Saif shared the development of various projects developed by PITB including e-Rozgar in detail whereas the e-Rozgar team gave a thorough brief on the progress and the future plans of the project.
Under the e-Rozgar initiative, PITB would be setting up e-Rozgar centers across 36 districts of Punjab providing employment prospects to the youth.
The delegates appreciated the efforts of PITB and Dr Umar Saif in particular for his continuous support.
