World Bank Delegates from Afghanistan Visit PITB

World Bank delegates from Afghanistan including Abdullah Habibzai (Deputy & Acting Mayor), Hernando Jarzon (Municipal Finance Advisor to Kabul Mayor), Waseem Kazmi (Senior Financial Management Specialist) and Muqaddesa Yourish (Director of Human Resources) visited PITB today. Team PITB comprising Salman Amin (Project Director PPMRP),
Adil Iqbal Khan (JD Infrastructure and Development), Saima Shaikh (Director Training and Development) and Rana Abid Mehmood (JD Operations & Communications) elaborated the most prominent ICT projects including Citizen Facilitation Centers and Smart Monitoring of Schools.
Thoroughly impressed by PITB’s portfolio, the Mayor of Kabul said that they were excited to implement similar projects in their region while the delegates stated that Kabul is taking inspiration from Punjab in terms of digitization leading to transparent delivery of services to the citizens.
