Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) developed projects for Punjab police including Front Desk, HRIMS, computerization of salaries, biometric systems, websites, police complaint center, finger print scanning and many others have not only upgraded police performance and facilitated transparent processing of criminal investigations but have also streamlined work within the department.
Attendance is now being monitored by DIG operations on daily basis including the performance of ‘thanas’.
