With the vision to transform Punjab into one of the top e-Governed, IT-enabled, e-Literate province in the region, the Punjab Information Technology Board has put the first draft for the Punjab IT Policy 2016 up for public consultation. The Policy envisions a progressive, dynamic and inclusive Punjab that is abreast with the latest technological developments and offers a conducive environment for innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable human development.
The draft has been prepared as a result of the phenomenal efforts contributed by more than 150 brilliant minds from across Pakistan and would be discussed in detail by key stakeholders from the IT & ITES sector at the 3rd #PITB #Roundtable Conference being held on October 25, 2016 (Tuesday).
