Chairman PITB, Dr Umar Saif visited THQ Kamoki to review the progress of PITB’s hospital reform projects along with DCO Gujranwala, Amir Jan. PITB had initiated and implemented a Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) in THQ Kamoki, which has been successful enough that the system has now been implemented at THQ Raiwind whereas the emergency of Jinnah Hospital, Lahore has also been fully automated.
With the digitization of healthcare data including performance assessment and biometric attendance of the staff, electronic medical record, pharmacy automation, patient care, hospital administration and the corresponding service processing, HIMS has enabled transparent service delivery to the patients.
