PITB-developed application installed in the smartphones shall help the farmers improve their harvest. The application will be in Urdu to make it as user-friendly as possible while the distribution of the phones shall begin in October.
Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has actively been working with the Agriculture department to implement tech-driven solutions for better production of crops. Implementation of a ‘Cognitive System’, powered by PITB, will facilitate agriculturalists and farmers to improve their business prospects.
