Muharram Surveillance: PITB to Facilitate Home Department Monitor Activities

As Muharram begins, the security risks during the processions and activities that follow are heightened. PITB shall therefore be facilitating the Home Department developing system and mechanism to monitor majlis and routes of the processions in 11 districts of Punjab for the safety and security of the citizens. PITB’s dedicated team of trained individuals will also be allocated at the control room specially instituted for surveillance during Muharram.
