Training Session on Traffic Status Mobile Application was held at Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). The application allows traffic wardens to send real time updates on traffic load on the city roads. The portal displays real-time traffic data and statistics on Google maps to be used by traffic department officials for better traffic management and reporting. It also facilitates public in the form of advisory messages and real time traffic updates to avoid traffic jams thus saving time and effort.
