A successful Training session was conducted on Traffic Reforms Application & Traffic Advisory SMS Alert Service developed by Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for PSCA (Punjab Safe City Authority) staff and the deployment of service at PPIC3 (Punjab Police Integrated Command and Control Center). The real-time traffic updates through Mobile Handsets from CTPL (City Traffic Police Lahore) Sector In-charges are made readily available to PSCA (Punjab Safe City Authority) staff & Traffic Police Lahore to enable efficient management of traffic and to deal with all current and upcoming critical situations. The Traffic Advisory SMS Alert Service, which sends SMS's to general public in order to update them with latest traffic alerts, as well as general informatory and safety messages. This is yet another IT intervention by PITB to enable smooth service delivery for the general public.
