Dr. Umar Saif, Chairman PITB & founding Vice Chancellor of ITU, presented the ITU memento to Dr. Nergis Mavalvala in a ceremony at Information Technology University. She is the first recipient of Pakistan's Lahore Technology Award in recognition of her observations on the gravitational waves.
