PITB has developed a digital monitoring mechanism for CPR (Cane Payment Receipt) and conducted training of District Administration Staff in this regard. The system will ensure that the sugar cane is accurately weighed and recorded at the weighing stations and the farmers gets paid appropriately against the weight of sugar cane consignments. The android monitoring system will be functional across 45 sugar mills in Punjab covering all 36 districts. System will eliminate inaccuracies in the measurement of sugarcane weight, facilitate the sugar cane growers and revive their confidence.
