PITB-deployed Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system can assist in the prevention and spread of COVID-19. Available at more than 36 DHQs and THQs of Punjab, the efficiently functioning HIMS is linked with Disease Surveillance System (DSS), which sends alerts regarding any disease. This will help in filtering the patients diagnosed with Coronavirus, their isolation and further treatment.
