Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) signed an MoU today for implementing a range of ICT interventions to enhance PESSI's operational efficiency and improve service delivery. The MoU was signed by PITB DG IT-Operations Faisal Yousaf and PESSI Vice Commissioner Hamid Mehmood Malhi.
According to the MoU, PITB will assist PESSI with initiating Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for smaller healthcare facilities, Benefit App & Portal, deployment of Human Resource (HRMIS) and Office Management (e-Foas) systems and a dedicated Helpline at PITB’s Citizen Contact Centre (CCC).
Punjab Minister for Higher Education & Information Technology Raja Yassir Hamayun Sarfraz, Commissioner PESSI Dr. Syed Bilal Haider, Secretary Labour & Human Resource Department Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi, Chairman PITB Azfar Manzoor and other senior officials were also present at the ceremony.
