PITB IT Operations team visited Gilgit-Baltistan Police Headquarters to extend support in Law & Order automation. PITB team assessed and evaluated their current policing procedures and proposed how Gilgit-Baltistan Police can leverage technology to digitize their manual records and automate processes. PITB is executing a federal project titled “Crime Analytics & Smart Policing in Pakistan” under which, initially, software applications of Hotel Eye, HR Management System, FIR Management System, Driving License Management System and Criminals Record Automation will be rolled out in Gilgit-Baltistan. On this occasion, IG Gilgit-Baltistan Police Dr. Mujeeb ur Rahman khan conducted an online meeting with PITB, Punjab Police and MoITT to discuss the road map. He also inaugurated the “Crime Analytics and Smart Policing in Pakistan” Project in Gilgit-Baltistan. He lauded PITB efforts and presented PITB Team with shields.
