PITB assists the government in the maintaining databases of various grants including Marriage Grant, Farewell Grant, Scholarship Grant, Funeral Grant and Monthly Grant, under the Punjab Government Servants Benevolent Fund. In order to further streamline and enhance the work performance of this Fund, PITB will be automating the processes and online disposal of the grants starting with the pilot program of Farewell Grant and Marriage Grant. In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary Irum Bukhari chaired a detailed meeting with PITB IT-Operations team to discuss the dynamics of the project and the way forward.
