PITB has launched the official website of Program Management Unit (PMU) that was established in 2004 to monitor the activities of Punjab Irrigated-Agriculture Productivity Improvement Project (PIPIP) and other initiatives taken under it. The monitoring parameters include technical parameters like timely provision of technical assistance to farmers and field staff, physical parameters such as checking of rectifications in lieu of pointed out shortfalls, and financial parameters such as proper implementation of cost sharing mechanism. Functioning on a secure platform, the website is responsive and mobile adaptive to provide efficient and improved public service delivery.
