New Born Screening is a PITB developed ICT initiative implemented at National Institute of Child Health (NICH), Karachi. This system helps in taking necessary measures for early diagnostic and cure of congenital hypothyroidism among newborn babies. Furthermore, it ensures proper clinical services and medications for the confirmed newborn cases with remarkable results and 100% recovery rate. The system is functional in 30 districts across Sindh since January 2020.
