Disease Surveillance System is an early warning system designed as per the guidelines advised by World Health Organization to capture the data of communicable diseases. This holistic system has been operational since 2013. Data for surveillance is being captured from all levels of healthcare facilities to monitor and maintain the MSD standards at healthcare facilities to ensure the best availability of best services for the public across Punjab.
