National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) and PITB signed an MoU today to implement PITB's e-Filing & Office Automation System (e-FOAS) across Pakistan on all the national highways and motorways.
The system was piloted in 12 beats initially. After a successful completion of the pilot and its amazing results, NHMP decided to implement it country wide.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the Ministry of Communication Islamabad. The event was chaired by Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed. Secretary Communication Zafar Hassan, IG NHMP Syed Kaleem Imam and Chairman PITB Azfar Manzoor were also present at the ceremony.
The MoU was signed by PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and DIG HQ NHMP Asghar Yousfzai.
Addl DG PITB Muhammad Waseem Bhatti, JD PITB Khawar Hafeez, Program Manager PITB Ishfaq Ali Jutt, Manager FC PITB Jansher Gul, Addl IG NHMP Khalid Mahmood, SPO NHMP Wasim Nawaz and other officials were also present at the ceremony.
e-FOAS would help NHMP in its day to day office operations and enhance organization’s overall operational and administrative capacity. It will also help NHMP save time and cost in addition to bringing in efficiency, transparency and greater operational control across the organization.
