PITB organised a Stakeholders' Consultative workshop for the industry vendors for their feedback on the proposed e-Procurement System for Punjab. The initiative aims at standardising and automating the end-to-end procurement process to save cost, improve transparency, reduce corruption, and bring efficiency for both vendors and procuring entities.The session was chaired by Member IT P&D Board Masud Anwar with Chief IT P&D Board Sohail Raoof, DG e-Governance PITB Sajid Latif, Director Procurement PITB Ata-ur-Rehman, Dr. Sher Afghan from LUMS, Representatives of PPRA and vendors in attendance. Member IT P&D Board appreciated the efforts of PITB for the initiation of an e-Procurement regime in the province.
