Labour & HR Department of the Government of Punjab held its first meeting regarding the recently established Research and Development Cell (R&D Cell). During the meeting Secretary Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi emphasized the significance, objectives and expected outcomes of R&D Cell. He stated that this forum would help in sustaining reforms through an inclusive and participatory approach.
Senior officers of the department, including, Director General Labour Welfare Faisal Nisar, Commissioner PESSI Tanveer Iqbal, Secretary/CEO PWWF Jamil Ahmed, Additional Secretary Labour Majid Iqbal, and Senior Program Manager PITB were among the attendees.
The R&D Cell shall act as a think tank and nerve center of reforms in the Labour Department engaging with experts on important issues.
