Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Information and Culture Firdous Ashiq Awan and Punjab Minister for Information Technology & Higher Education Raja Yassir Hamayun Sarfarz visited PITB today to get an update on various ICT implementations across Punjab. Senior officials of PITB, including, Faisal Yousaf, Sajid Latif and Waqar Naeem Qureshi were present at the occasion. The ministers were given a detailed briefing on the IT initiatives in the areas of Citizen Centric Services, Youth Empowerment and Employment, Ease of Doing Business, Public Private Partnership, and Government Office Automation. Firdous Ashiq Awan appreciated PITB’s role in the successfully implementating these initiatives leading to improved public service delivery. The meeting was followed by a press conference held in the atrium of Arfa Software Technology Park.
