PITB and Punjab Food Sector meeting with Secretary and Director Food KPK

In reference to the on-going digitization of Punjab Food Sector, PITB team members gave a special briefing on Bardana & Wheat Procurement System to the Secretary Food Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Director Food KPK. The team gave an elaborate overview of the system while discussing how it has enabled the government to ensure transparency. The team also gave a demonstration of the Wheat Permit System. KPK Food Department showed keen interest in adopting the PITB developed systems starting with the implementation of the Wheat Permit System in the province.
