Representatives of PITB IT-Operations had a meeting with Cane Commissioner Punjab Muhammad Zaman Wattoo to discuss the implementation of an independent digitized system for sugar mills across Punjab. This digitized system will not only register sugarcane growers, brokers, dealers and wholesalers but will also help the cane competent authorities to monitor the entire process from cane procurement to the disbursement of sugar. Moreover, the system will ensure transparency and timely payments to sugarcane growers. PITB developed digital system will also include a Complaint Management Module.
