The production and distribution of Vehicle Number Plates has started across Punjab through the 'Number Plate Batch System' devised by PITB to facilitate Punjab Excise & Taxation Department. In this regard, a meeting was held at PITB with the Excise & Taxation department to discuss system enhancement and delivery method.
Citizens from across Punjab can access http://www.mtmis.excise-punjab.gov.pk/Number_plate to prioritize their number plate production request. The request will be forwarded to National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) and citizens will be alerted via SMS regarding the printing and delivery status of the number plate.
